Was
named in three of four Phoenix "Top Doc" lists and
in the current 2002 list. Dr. McPhee graduated from
Michigan Medical School in 1981 and Mayo Clinic
Rochester Minnesota Residency in Ophthalmology in
1985. He pursued Fellowship training in diabetes
and medical retinal disease at Johns Hopkins Medical
Center, the Wilmer Eye Institute. He was a consultant
1987-2000 at Mayo Clinic Rochester and Scottsdale
before private practice. Active as a lecturer and
teacher while at Mayo Clinic, he continues to teach
residents at Maricopa County Integrated Health System
while in private practice. A diplomat of the American
Society of Ophthalmology, he is also active in state
and national societies. For recreation, Dr. McPhee
is a Scout Master of a local troop, loves to hike,
camp and fly-fish. He also volunteers for medical
missions to Mexico and speaks Spanish. His primary
practice emphasis is in diabetic eye disease."
