D. degree from Syracuse University in 1954, Internship and residency at Letterman Army Hospital, San Francisco. Chief of Ophthalmology Services at 34th General Hospital in France, 1958 - 1962. Resigned with rank of Major in 1962 to start a practice in Phoenix. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1960. Past membership as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, AMA, and local Societies.
